The thing about painting is that it is one of the greatest teachers in life.
It teaches us to slow down, to trust, to listen, to leave behind what doesn’t work, so that we can hold space for what does. To connect self with the other, and the other with another self. More then anything to play, narrate and create poetry out of life. Out of your experience of humanity.
They reflect to us the forgotten parts of ourselves.
The parts that hurt, the parts which aren’t the first impression or even the second. But the impression we leave at the end of a long night. And in their imperfect mistakes they are human.
